I do not believe this is an issue related to the server, as I cannot ping any other devices from my macbook terminal either. But my macbook just cannot maintain a connection. I have a ssh terminal on my iphone that i can connect to the server with. I can ping and enter ssh my server from any other device on my network. I am trying to ssh into it, when sometime throughout today my macbook quit being able to ssh and ping it. Its not for the faint of heart, and it will require someone with a deep understanding of the macos operating system to help figure out. Icmp times out after a few successful pings and no longer allows me to ping the device (or any other) Hi, ive been wrestling with this issue all day. Please help, I really want to play Minecraft on my Macbook Air as it has significantly better fps then my Windows laptop (Windows laptop 20fps with Optifine/Macbook Air 80fps with Optifine). I suspect that the problem is something on the Macbook isn't letting some part of Minecraft connect to the internet, as authentication is happening I think because it shows under my username that I am connected (this is shown before pressing play in the new launcher). My wifi isn't the problem, minecraft runs multiplayer on my Windows computer and I have taken the Macbook to other wifi places and still doesn't work My minecraft account isn't the problem, I can play on my Windows computer. I checked to see if the minecraft ports can be connected to, (checked to do this from an old post on here) and it worked I downloaded the DMG minecraft and installed it to the application folder. However, I do have internet, as I have wifi and all other things that need wifi (Firefox, Discord, etc) works on Macbook. Like at all, it literally says "Can't connect to server", as if there was no internet. Minecraft single player works, but in multiplayer, it won't connect to servers.
